I have passion for yoga, literature, arts and working with children.
In my interaction with children I always apply elements of creativity and fun and try to teach yoga using their own imagination through storytelling, acting and artistic expression.
My background as a mother and a primary school teacher allows me to tune into children and recognize their needs quickly. For me to help children grow and test their own creative potential is the most rewarding job in the world.
I have always been a seeker of the truth and I find yoga is a wonderful path to it. My love for it began in 2002 when I first tried asanas as means to strengthen and relieve my body from typical stresses of the hectic corporate world. Later I travelled around India and Asia to learn mediation and yoga philosophy, practiced yoga with many teachers all over the world and gradually became a missionary for mindfulness and meditation for children.
In my mindful fairytales (www.fairydalia.com) I created philosophical stories for children and parents to reconnect and to find inner peace using magical imagery and visualizations. I use elements from my books also in my yoga classes.
I am a certified kids yoga teacher (Groovy Kids Yoga TT - Greville Henwood USA), have BA degree as a primary school teacher, MA degree in English Linguistics and Literature and also an ART school graduate. But most importantly I am a mom to my 8 year old daughter, Lisa Dalia.
I was born in Soviet Union (part of modern Ukraine), traveled the world and moved to Switzerland in 2000. My languages are Russian, Ukrainian, English, German and French.
I am currently completing my Yoga Teacher's Training at the 200H level with Yoga Alliance.
